# Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

Last Updated: June 1, 2026

## Our Commitment

Core Function Health is committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to access information about their health, understand the care we offer, and connect with us regardless of ability.

## Standards We Aim For

Our website is designed to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other disabilities.

## Measures We Take

To support accessibility, we work to maintain meaningful contrast between text and background colors; provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; use semantic HTML structure (clear headings, labels, and landmarks) so content is understandable to screen readers; support keyboard navigation throughout the site; provide clear focus indicators for interactive elements; caption or transcribe video content where applicable; and ensure forms and interactive elements are properly labeled and operable.

## Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are working to improve include some third-party embedded tools (such as scheduling or payment widgets) controlled by their vendors that may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control; and older content uploaded before our current accessibility practices were in place that may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are progressively updating older content as part of regular site maintenance.

## Compatibility with Assistive Technology

Our website is designed to be compatible with modern assistive technologies, including recent versions of screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver; voice recognition software; keyboard-only navigation; and modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on current operating systems. If you encounter compatibility issues with a specific assistive technology or browser combination, please let us know.
